〈urujyu Miyama Atelier〉
Miyama is a beautiful satoyama village known for its Ashu forests and thatched-roof houses. Its scenery evokes Japan’s original landscape, and the way of life here, coexisting with nature, offers a sense of peace to modern people living busy urban lives. Nestled within this pastoral landscape, Miyama Atelier appears like a little house straight out of a Japanese folktale.

Short-term program (possible to adjust according to your desired schedule)

〈Curriculum〉

• basic course: 2hours×１time @11,000JPY

contents: how to repair small chipping areas by powder finish with keshi-hun.

• standard course : 2 hours ×3 times　33,000JPY + kintsugi kit 12,100 JPY

contents: How to repair small chipping, broken pieces, big missing part by keshi-hun ( powder finish)

• advanced course : 2 hours ×5 times　55,000JPY + kintsugi kit 17,050 JPY

contents: How to repair small chipping, broken pieces, big missing part by keshi-hun ( powder finish) and maru-hun(polish finish)

• instructor course: 2hours ×10 times 110,000JPY+tools and materials 5,500JPY

contents: How to repair with raden , fuki urushi techniques, recovery techniques and more high techniques. This course is not only the kintsugi technique but also about how to make materials of kintsugi ( I grow some plants I use kintsugi ), philosophy, etc.

*Only those who have completed the advanced course may take this course. You can take both the advanced course and the instructor course at the same time.

You can take one or two lessons in a day. You can choose depending on your schedule.

〈Stay〉

The accommodation fee is 6,600/ per night not including meals.

There are some restaurants and shops near.

The guest house has the kitchen, bathrooms, and toilet for the guest.
