Urujyu was established 2015 by urushiartist Ai Shimizu to keep Japanese urushi culutuer in the futer.
Urujyu means Urushi tree.
We hope keep three urushi culutuer.
One is to use urushi or urushi ware in your life.
One is teshinique of urushi.
One is domestic urushi tree.
Through Kintsugi,we have passed on technique of urushi and using urushi in your life to many pepple.
In 2020 we moved in beautiful mountain Miyama in Kyoto and now we start plantind urushi trees.
